intelligentgolf messaging now available

intelligentgolf have now released a new feature, allowing members to send messages directly to each other. This is a replacement for the showing of personal details such as phone numbers and email addresses, for example in the member directory, or in knockout competitions. With the increasing focus on data protection and individual rights on this, it is important that the exposure of personal information, even within the club, is minimised.

The igMessaging sevice has the following features:

• one to one messages
• group messages
• block individual users
• disable messaging entirely
• contact opponents in knockouts
• instant notifications on the igMember app
• Email notification on first unread message
• Unread message count shown on website

Using Messages

To get started, just login to the website, and click My Golf -> Messages

The club has paid for an all media and content package for the igMember app. There is no cost to you as a user of the app, so to give messaging a real go just download the app if you haven't already.

How to get the app

It is available in the App Store and the Google Play Store. For full instructions, go to here or go to My Golf -> Preferences and look for the link to the app. You can find much more information there.
